A space for people to encounter Jesus…
in the Heart of Milngavie, Glasgow.
As part of a bigger engaging-culture initiative, our plan is to rent a storefront in the centre of Milngavie, north Glasgow. Since we began The Gathering Network 6 years ago, sacrificial prayer and authentic worship have been foundational to all we do - now we want to take this out to the people we are called to show Jesus’s love to. Our plan is to eventually open 3 spaces across Glasgow.
This space is our first. With your help, this dream can become a reality.
The store is located at the start of the West Highland Way, a world famous 96-mile walking pilgrimage from Milngavie to Fort William, bringing us into contact with many different people, and we will be embedded right in the heart of this vibrant Glasgow community.
The idea behind this visible shopfront, named Open Space, is for it to be somewhere where members of the public can engage, connect with and encounter the love of Jesus in a creative environment, centred around prayer.
Open Space will be a place where believers can engage in activating prayer, learn to bless the local community, as well as a place of training and equipping for them in how to live missionally.
We also have a heart to display the love of God through offering prayer for healing, acts of service, care & compassion, and emotional well being initiatives.
We want to create a prayer community with a broad inter-denominational reach, collaborating with all the local churches.
Open Space will be an intentionally inviting and welcoming space where all people can come and encounter Jesus through a discovery-based and obedience-oriented approach.
